Eligibility:a) Application for admission to the First Degree of the University must be made online through the Ministry of Education Higher Education Centralised Admission Systems (HECAS).
b) Applications for admission to the Master and PhD Degree programmes of the University must be made on the prescribed Application Forms available from the Office of the Admissions Office, UNISSA or The closing date for submission of application forms for Master Degree Programmes by Coursework and Master Degree Programmes by Coursework and Dissertation is 31st March 2011. .
c) The University will only consider application with qualifications obtained from a University / Institution / Examination Board recognised by the University Senate.
d) Applicants must pass the security screening and medical check.
e) Art or English as a Second Language in the Brunei-Cambridge GCE ‘A’ Level is not considered as a subject for entry to the first degree programmes.
f) Only short listed / successful candidates will be contacted.
g) The University reserves the right to reject applications which are incomplete, received after the closing date or containing false information.

Scholarship Description: Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University of Brunei Darussalam (UNISSA) is offering scholarships for the studies of al-Quran and al-Qiraat at the Bachelor, Masters and PhD levels for the Academic Year 2011/2012. To provide valuable benefits to the students at international levels through learning and teaching of the Qur’an, which will enhance the eminence of Islam and a step forward in the educational uplift of the Qur’an and the sciences related to it.
